“Paris, Quai St. Bernard:
When it doesn’t rain, they usually come in the afternoon to dance along the Seine… at least in summer. Different places, different types of music: Tango [next to which bridge], Rock n Roll [next to which other bridge], ….
Someone brings the audio equipment and a hat for contributions. Sometimes, it gets really crowded, sometimes, just a few people.
They meet week after week. Some of them are 70, 80 years old, they come from different parts of the world. Often the older ones are the best dancers!
Here’s to Nora, Roland, Jean-Pierre and all the rest. Keep on dancing!”
